Hi Everyone!
Can you believe we’re almost to the end of the year already? I almost can’t believe we’re already halfway through December. Though to be fair, I spent the first week of December (yes, all seven days) in Anaheim, California.
This isn’t normal, I’m a Midwestern girl by heart and nature, so it was weird and nice to have such warm weather for the week. However, it was also mostly taken up with the conference I had to attend for work, with nearly 12-hour days. So I didn’t get to enjoy too much of the city and Disney so close either. The weather was kind enough for following me home though, because it was in the 60’s when I got home.
I even have a small TikTok video with my flight home travel things, over HERE if you’re interested in checking it out. Still getting the hang of recording while traveling and doing things as a whole. I also missed the opportunity to take photos as much as I normally do.
Incredible Surprise
One of the amazing things that happened this December - Hotel Fen was nominated for two awards over at the Indie Ink Awards 2023!
Best Cover and Cover Artist
Best Use of Tropes
They have a world of amazing indie-written books under a ton of categories that you can vote for over at their website. It would mean the world to my co-author and I if you could take a minute to vote for Hotel Fen in our two categories, but I’d also encourage you to explore all the categories, maybe vote for some if you can, and also just take a look and find some other new reads.
Again, the voting is over at their Website, and they do require you to register for their website to vote.
Finally in Hardback!
Also on the exciting list, Mist Gallows is finally available in HARDBACK! Which means if you’re a hardback fan, you can finally complete the trilogy!
So if you haven’t already, grab your copy of the end of the trilogy and find out how Ragnarok really plays out this winter!
Also, if you’re wondering about the painting on the wall, yes it was done with the book three cover in mind. =)
This will likely be the last newsletter of the year, so wishing you and yours a warm, joyful Happy Holidays in whatever you celebrate, and I’ll see you in the New Year!
